Best of all, it usually doesn\u2019t require a big budget.<\/p>\n<h4>Develop a culture of gratitude<\/h4>\n<p>Every person working for you wants to feel like they are being noticed and appreciated, so it\u2019s time to start communicating this. Whether it\u2019s a simple thank you, or introducing a section on your company\u2019s intranet that celebrates employee achievements every month, a little recognition goes a long way.<\/p>\n<h4>Trial flexible working<\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/tiger-recruitment.com\/workplace-insights\/flexible-working-need-know\/\">Flexible working<\/a> is increasingly becoming a necessity for most employees \u2013 a study by Timewise found that 87% of employees say that they work flexibly or would like to. Encouraging an ethos of learning will make employees comfortable and enthusiastic about taking control of their <a href=\"https:\/\/tiger-recruitment.com\/workplace-insights\/ladder-learning-encouraging-career-progression\/\">career progression<\/a> within the working day.<\/p>\n<p>These programmes can also help with attracting new talent \u2013 when <a href=\"https:\/\/tiger-recruitment.com\/looking-to-recruit\/executive-assistant-recruitment\/\">hiring an executive assistant<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/tiger-recruitment.com\/looking-to-recruit\/personal-assistant-recruitment\/\">recruiting a PA<\/a>, offering learning and development opportunities can be a huge plus.<\/p>\n<h4>Allow for internal mobility<\/h4>\n<p>It\u2019s not just a case for onwards and upwards \u2013 sometimes, employees will look to their company for help in changing careers. Whatever the shift, you can show support by welcoming this change and providing the resources wherever possible.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Review your internal communication strategies<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>People don\u2019t want to feel excluded from decisions that directly relate to them<strong>, <\/strong>so if you haven\u2019t already, now is the time to consider a regular internal communications scheme. Maintaining a transparent approach on business performance, goals and future plans will allow your employees to see how they fit into the grand scheme of things and in return, encourage buy-in.
